Senior Growth Marketing Specialist, Paid Acquisition
Cognito Forms
Who we are
Cognito is a fast-growing SaaS company empowering users to quickly build forms – and form-driven business solutions – by themselves. No developer necessary.
Who you are
We are looking for a senior, outcome-oriented acquisition leader who combines strong judgement, ownership, and strategic thinking with the ability to write compelling, conversion-driven content for paid channels. This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing and content: someone who doesn’t just optimize campaigns, but crafts the messaging that makes them convert.
This person is comfortable making high-stakes decisions, takes responsibility for results, collaborates across teams, and communicates clearly with leadership. They are curious, disciplined, and self-driven.
What you’ll be doing
-
Identify, target, and continuously refine high-intent audiences to drive conversion to paid accounts
-
Own paid acquisition performance across Google (primary), Bing, Reddit, Meta, and paid partnerships
-
Write and iterate on ad copy, headlines, descriptions, and value propositions that drive conversion across paid channels
-
Analyze performance data to diagnose what is working, what is not, and why
-
Clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and next steps to stakeholders
-
Optimize campaigns, targeting, messaging, and budgets to improve conversion efficiency and ROAS
-
Partner with creative and content teams to align messaging with audience intent
-
Test new audiences, messaging, channels, and approaches in a structured, disciplined way
-
Monitor funnel performance from click through paid account conversion and flag breakdowns
-
Make informed decisions on where to scale, pause, or shift spend based on results and business goals
-
Contribute to marketing campaigns that support feature launches and key initiatives
What you should bring to the table
-
5–8+ years of experience managing paid acquisition, with strong expertise in Google Ads
-
Proven ability to write high-performing paid media copy that converts (not just managing campaigns)
-
Instinct for audience intent and how to translate it into effective messaging
-
Strong understanding of performance data to refine copy, offers, and positioning
-
Experience using analytics and conversion data to improve results and how to turn it into clear next steps
-
Clear communicator who works well with cross-functional marketing, engineering, and creative teams
-
Ownership mindset with the ability to manage priorities, test rigorously, and deliver results
What you can expect in return
- A competitive salary
- Health insurance and other benefits
- 401k retirement plan with company match
- Company provided cell phone
- 24 paid days off as a new employee
- Hybrid work schedule – a mix of in office and work from home
- A relaxed and flexible work environment
- A great team to work with and learn from
- Team outings and planned get-togethers
- A fun and functional office in the heart of Columbia’s arts and technology district
