Job Description

The Production Associate is a skilled worker responsible for assembling complex mechanical or electronic components using precise instructions, often requiring a high level of dexterity and knowledge of specialized tools to ensure the final product meets strict quality standards; they may also perform quality checks and troubleshooting on assembled units.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly of new product:
  
  

Following processes and procedures directly related to Production and the manufacturing of new products.

• Directly responsible for building kits
• Ensuring kit builds are running as expected
• Utilizing web-based platforms
• Work with other departments to assist with the support of our products
• Quality control inspections:
  
  

Performing thorough checks on assembled units to ensure proper functionality, quality, and efficiency

• Supervision Exercised:
  
  

Direct report to the Production Team Leader. Will directly report to the Production Manager if the Production Team Leader is absent

Preferred Qualifications

• Equivalent Education Level Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience Required: Technical skills are a plus
• Knowledge Required: Excellent written and verbal communications skills as would be needed to communicate in person and through email. Adaptability and flexibility to changing environments; comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply information. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills. Ability to maintain confidential information and professional boundaries. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws. Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
• Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time; standing occasionally, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, twisting, frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs, occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs, grasping, transferring items between hands and/or to another person or receptacle.

• Entry level Skill with Microsoft tools: Basic knowledge of computers including functional use, along with everyday use of the following; NetSuite, Salesforce, MS Office, Word, and Excel.
• Attention to detail: High level of focus to ensure accurate assembly and quality control.
• Problem-solving abilities: Ability to identify and resolve assembly issues
