Founded in 2016 by a female team of researchers from Yale University, Van Robotics builds desktop-sized, autonomous robot tutors that accelerate learning through the adaptive delivery of national standards-aligned math, reading, and social and emotional learning instruction. Van’s first product to market, a math and reading robot tutor named ABii, was named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2020. ABii is currently in use across 34 states and 6 countries.
