The PMO Program Management Lead is an LMA position that will oversee a portfolio of critical projects and lead a team of project managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program and portfolio management, be adept at handling complex, cross-functional initiatives, and excel at leading direct reports toward successful project delivery. This role will involve both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in driving key programs from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets across multiple verticals. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for driving efficiency, ensuring quality, and developing project and program management maturity. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of the PMO, the PMO Program Management Lead will be instrumental in shaping the future of our project management office and supporting the seamless integration of newly acquired companies.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce standardized project management processes with attention to regional specific requirements.
- Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders so they remain engaged, aligned; and informed.
- Define roles and responsibilities ensuring everyone understands who is responsible for what, from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop a single unified governance model that spans both application development and infrastructure work, aligning expectations, timelines, and risk management processes.
- Establish joint reviews with both application development and infrastructure teams to identify dependencies, ensure alignment, and address issues early.
- Develop a change request management review/approval process with an associated impact assessment
- Establish a clear portfolio dashboard to communicate project health, status, and any interdependencies between the application and infrastructure work, to facilitate tracking and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage both client and non-client facing projects as assigned.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors and key stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
- Align cross-functional teams to ensure all parties are working towards shared program objectives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand priorities, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and other direct reports, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Assign program and project responsibilities, ensuring proper workload distribution across the team.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages ownership and accountability.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and goal-setting sessions to ensure team alignment and individual growth.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A minimum of 7 years of success in project management, leading high-impact projects portfolios.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement standardized procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of training and mentoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organized and able to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities in an efficient manner.
- Skilled in identifying inefficiencies and developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Utilizes data-driven approaches for decision-making and performance tracking.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, effectively conveying complex information.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and secure alignment for process changes.
- Leverages technical expertise from team members to enhance project outcomes.
- Strong understanding of project management tools and best practices in the IT and managed services industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as IT, Business, or Project Management.
- Certification in QA or Project Management (e.g. PMP, Six Sigma; ITIL; CQA)
